Middle School Library marked a special occasion on the 2nd of October by celebrating Gandhi Jayanti with an impressive exhibition of books dedicated to the life and wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi. The library was transformed into a hub of knowledge, as the shelves were adorned with an array of books that shed light on the principles, ideals, and accomplishments of this iconic leader.
In addition to the Gandhi-themed books, the library also took the opportunity to introduce the students to a plethora of new arrivals. This unveiling of fresh literary treasures was met with tremendous enthusiasm and excitement among the students. The curiosity to explore these new additions was palpable as the young readers eagerly gathered around the displays.
Not content with simply gazing at the enticing covers and intriguing titles, the students actively engaged in the book preview and review activity. They shared their thoughts and perspectives on the new arrivals, offering their opinions and insights, thus creating a dynamic exchange of ideas. This process of critical evaluation and sharing of views not only broadened their literary horizons but also encouraged them to think critically about the material they were consuming.
